The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the
14th Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF) in the presence of the Minister of
Petroleum.
The joint committee, consisting of members from
the relevant departments, will issue approvals within the framework of the
rules and regulations and approvals of the Supreme Council of Social
Responsibility of the Petrochemical Industry.
The participating companies in the regions will
contract with the general managers of the school renovation organization of
each province.
Morteza Shahmirzaei, CEO of the National
Petrochemical Company and Chairman of the Supreme Council of Social
Responsibility of the Petrochemical Industry, and Hamid Reza Khan Mohammadi,
Deputy Minister and Head of the School Renovation, Development and Equipping
Organization of the country, signed the memorandum of cooperation.
This collaboration highlights the petrochemical
industry's commitment to social responsibility by contributing to the education
sector's development and equipping of schools.
The Shahid Panahi project aims to renovate
concrete and stone schools in Bushehr, Khuzestan and Ilam provinces.
