In an interview with Nipna, Hussein Alimorad stated,
"This year's exhibition is quite different from previous editions. Over
the past few years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, foreign companies had limited
participation. However, this year, we are witnessing a greater number of
participants."
Alimorad added that the increased participation of Iranian
and foreign companies in the 17th Iran Plast Exhibition would lead to enhanced
cooperation and the establishment of new collaborations between capable Iranian
companies and foreign firms present at Iran Plast.
Referring to the potential for technical knowledge exchange
and collaboration in the field of modern technologies, especially in downstream
petrochemical industries, Alimorad noted, "The growth of non-oil exports
and the identification of new markets for petrochemical products can result in
expanded target markets and desirable currency earnings."
The 17th International Iran Plast Exhibition, with its focus
on value chain development, support for domestic production, and boosting
domestic manufacturing, commenced on September 17 and will run for four days at
the permanent exhibition grounds in Tehran.
Iran Plast serves as a platform for promoting collaboration
and innovation within the petrochemical industry, highlighting Iran's
commitment to enhancing its position in the global market while contributing to
the growth of its domestic manufacturing capabilities.
