According to a report by Nipna, quoting Almas Mahshahr Petrochemical
Company, following the completion of geotechnical studies at the olefin site,
the initial phase of executive activities, encompassing the piling operations
for non-industrial structures (warehouses, central workshops, clinics, and fire
stations), as well as storage tanks (for feedstock and products), has been
initiated.
The piling operations at the olefin site are expected to include
approximately 9,000 piling points, with the total length of the piles exceeding
20 kilometers.
It is worth mentioning that Almas Mahshahr Petrochemical is among the
mega projects under the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Holding Company,
contributing to the production of over 2 million tons of products.
It stands as one of the country's largest complexes for producing
alpha olefins and polyolefins.
With the commencement of piling operations, the construction of
foundations and the subsequent development of extensive industrial structures
at Site 3 within the Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone are
anticipated to begin shortly.
