The 10th Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award ceremony, held on the
14th of Esfand (March 4), saw the presence of Seyyed So'lat Mortazavi, Minister
of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, Morteza Shahmirzaei, CEO of the
National Petrochemical Company, Vahidreza Zeydifard, Deputy Minister of
Engineering, Research, and Technology at the Ministry of Petroleum, Mehdi
Alimadadi, Deputy for Development and Human Resources at the Ministry of Petroleum,
Abdolhossein Bayat, Head of the Retirement Funds Board of Petroleum Industry,
Abdolali Aliaskari, CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, and
Babak Afghahi, CEO of Ta'min Petroleum and Petrochemical
Investment Co: (TAPPICO), under the slogan "Production Growth
with a Focus on Strengthening the Supply Chain" at the IRIB International
Conference Center. The event honored the winners of this edition of the
festival.
During the ceremony, the CEO of the National Petrochemical Company,
highlighting the strategic plans of the thirteenth government for completing
the value chain, indigenization, and self-sufficiency in catalysts, goods, and
equipment required by the petrochemical industry, stated, "The Ministry of
Petroleum of the thirteenth government has placed high value on domestic
producers and manufacturers."
The CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company emphasized
the importance of excellence in companies and organizations, saying,
"Alongside assessing companies, the quality of governance of companies and
executive organizations is also crucial, and the excellence of governance in the
petrochemical industry must also be evaluated."
The secretary of the Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award,
referring to a 73% increase in evaluators in this period compared to the
previous one, said, "The participation of companies in the Excellence
Award process has increased from 39 companies in 1401 to 67 companies in
1402."
Ali Mohammad Bossaqzadeh, the head of the Policy-Making Council of the
Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award, also regarded the completion of the
value chain as one of the priorities of the Petrochemical Industry Excellence
Award Secretariat and said, "The document for the development of the
petrochemical industry value chain is reaching the implementation stage with
the Excellence Award."
However, other activities in the petrochemical industry also took
place in this month.
The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company, at the first CAPTURE CO۲
brainstorming session held on the second of Esfand, said, "We do not
welcome sanctions, but the conditions of the sanctions era have led to the
blossoming of Iranian ingenuity, and today we are developing and advancing the
petrochemical industry relying on domestic capabilities."
